Launch your future in the green economy at our Green Economy Gatherings, brought to you by our Environment and Climate Change team (ECC) and Iron & Earth.
Are you a Métis Citizen living in Medicine Hat and area? Your Green Economy Gathering will take place on June 7 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede. You will have the chance to network with industry experts and mentors, learn about green sectors such as renewable energy, and explore how you can get involved in the green economy.
The Green Economy Gatherings will be hosted in community settings, and food and drinks will be provided. Each Gathering is a drop-in, booth-style event that features:
- Booths from local organizations and industry representatives in the green economy sectors, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainability, and more
- Information about career opportunities in green economy sectors
- Opportunities to connect with industry leaders, community mentors and other Citizens
Registration is encouraged but not required. You’re welcome to drop by at any point during the event.
