A word from our
District Captain
Heather Seale, DC
As a district captain for the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, I act as a community leader and liaison, representing my district within the Métis government structure. I engage with community members, communicate their needs and concerns, and promote Métis culture and governance. I also help organize events, support initiatives, and ensure that my district’s interests are considered in broader decision-making processes to strengthen our community ties and cultural identity.
Check out our District Council, which is dedicated to advocating for and supporting initiatives, programs, and efforts that celebrate Métis culture, strengthen community ties, and promote advocacy in Medicine Hat.
